Designs

The following are designs that I have done for others and for myself.

This layout was designed as a three frame layout. This type of layout makes it very easy for people who have visitors whose monitors might not be set to 800*600 and who do not have browsers that support i-frames

This design was made to be used with a drop down menu which the site owner had already created. It was designed for browsers with i-frame support since the drop down menu did not support frames. It was also not designed for users who had a setting that was not 800*600

Special Notes: This layout was nominated for Best Layout in round 6 of The Passion Awards

A very simple four frame design. No roll over menu, but if TheFanlistings.Org changes their url again the whole layout will have to be redone. <p>

This layout was fairly easy as well. It is made of tables and iframes. I like it because it is clean and smiple.

The Winter 2003/2004 layout for EmpathyMia is one of my favorites. Many layers were used to create the picture that was the background for this layout. A lot of different brushes were used as well. I love the human eye and cats' eyes as well. They are always used a lot in my work because I feel like I can communicate with the viewer by using them. You can make a connection using eyes, even if you are not looking at the same site at the same time. Creating the boarder of the text areas was a lot harder and at the same time a lot easier than I thought it would be. They are really nice for this piece because of the number of colors that were used. It helps to make them stand out more. The one flaw was trying to find text that could be used with the layout. I tried using the same color text that the EmpathyMia logo was made in but it did not stand out.

This layout was done using php and integrates the Enthusiast program. This was fun to make because I first took all the color pictures and made them black and white. Then I proceeded to color in the select areas that I wanted to be color. Then I rotated each picture and put a frame around it so they looked like snap shots lying on the page
